After performing Tawaf Wada, or Tawaf Al-Wada (The Farewell Tawaf), the pilgrim is free to do anything there as per hajj rules and government law must not be violated.

So after your Tawaf Wada, you are supposed to carry out whatever you can take with yourself as a pilgrim (Haji) such as Zamzam water because of the blessing therein as Prophet of Islam Muhammad SAAW did so,
 

“The prophet of Allah used to carry it with him in water skins and containers - and he used to pour (it) upon the sick and give it to them to drink.”

Moreover, there is a narration narrated as,
 

“Before Mecca was conquered he used to send the message to Suhail ibn ‘Amr: that he should bring Zamzam water for us and not leave it - so he would send to him two large bag full.”

So this is the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad SAAW regarding what to do after performing Tawaf Wada in your pilgrimage to mecca. It is not however and obligation from Manasik Hajj to take in, but is preferable and have great blessing therein.

So Finally, when you are finishing the Tawaf and leaving the mosque (Masjid Al Haram) like the rest of the pilgrims (Hajis), you are not supposed to walk backwards. So you should leave as putting out your left foot first by reciting
 

Allahuma salli ‘alla muhammadin wa sallim - allahumma inni ‘as'aluka min fadhlika

O Allah send blessings and peace upon Muhammad. O Allah I ask You for Your bounty
